Amber Kenny hails from the Southern Highlands on Gundungurra land in New South Wales, Australia. She lives on a farm with her family, horses and cherished Maton guitar. A graduate of the CMAA Academy of Country Music, Amber blends captivating melodies and raw, authentic lyrics that resonate deeply with her listeners. Amber’s ability to authentically connect with her audience is at the heart of her music.

 In 2023, Amber released ‘Run Dry’, her debut single produced by Nash Chambers, with the music video being aired on CMT, where it continues to be in rotation. That same year, Amber headed to Nashville where she made her US debut at the iconic Bluebird Cafe during AMERICANAFEST.

 Amber’s debut tour, Diaries of a Songwriter, took her to festivals including Yass’ Irish and Celtic Music Festival and the Bundanoon Folk Festival throughout 2024. In 2025, Amber is continuing to visit rural and regional areas with upcoming shows planned throughout south-east New South Wales, before adventuring on a state-wide tour.

 For the past three years, Amber has performed at the Tamworth Country Music Festival as a solo artist as well as part of 3 Birds & The Truth, a trio with Beth Lucas and Jo Caseley.

Amber’s debut album, ‘Beautiful Scars’, is now out in the world. Produced by Syd Green and Ben Fink, alongside Amber, it features an impressive line-up of musical talent including Lyn Bowtell, Lloyd Swanton and Clare O'Meara. The album is full of deep layers of emotion and storytelling, combining soaring vocals and beautiful musicianship.

 A passionate songwriter, Amber has co-written with industry icons including Jane Bach, Alyssa Trahan, Patricia Conroy, Dave Thomson, Lyn Bowtell and Syd Green.
